A civic/service club composed of men and women of all segments of our community. Frontiers of America was founded in Columbus, Ohio, on November 10, 1936 by Nimrod B. Allen. Frontiers was incorporated in Ohio on December 24, 1938, and was formed to provide men of various backgrounds an opportunity to offer community leadership and community service. Members are called “Yokefellows, "which is derived from the oxen bearing the burden of work through the yoke it wears." A Yokefellow recognizes that the community in which one lives is the plot of ground given to till to develop.
